Examination system and infrastructure
TMA examinations are delivered through Moodle, one of the world's leading learning platforms. The platform is installed on the Academy's physical server and protected by technical security measures. The system is updated periodically to make examinations more convenient for students and to help the academic process management team monitor exams and review submissions efficiently. In the examination room, every computer uses a full-screen exam environment that prevents students from closing the exam system or opening another website before the exam is completed. The computers are connected to an internal network with internet access disabled for security purposes.
On-campus examination process
Students complete a simple identity check 15 minutes before the exam starts. Each student receives a randomly assigned coloured card that indicates the row of desks, while the number on the card identifies the specific desk. The process is supervised in person by an invigilator and monitored by the academic process management team through observation cameras. Registered students log in to the examination system with their personal username and password. The exam opens only at the scheduled time, after which students can begin writing.
Remote examination process
Remote examinations are also conducted through Moodle. Before the exam begins, students must activate their microphone and camera in Google Meet and confirm the examination rules. The process is recorded for monitoring purposes, and recordings are deleted after the exam appeal period ends. If a student attempts to enter the exam from two devices, the system automatically blocks the account.
