Custom-Built System

Card-Based Examination Centre

A fully automated, secure examination environment developed internally โ€” QR-card entry, kiosk laptops, automatic seating and real-time monitoring.

01
Student Registration
The examination department uploads exam schedules, start/end times and student lists into the system.
02
Exam Card
Each student receives a personalised exam card with photo and QR code โ€” their digital exam identity.
03
Card Scanning & Entry
On arrival the student scans their exam card. The system verifies identity and automatically assigns a random table number.
04
QR Login on Laptop
The same QR code unlocks the dedicated exam laptop. A one-time secure login โ€” no passwords needed.
05
Linux Kiosk + Moodle
The laptop runs a hardened Linux kiosk โ€” only Moodle opens. All other apps, tabs and shortcuts are blocked.
06
Monitoring & Logging
All activity is logged with timestamps and IP addresses. If a student disconnects mid-exam and tries to reconnect, they are automatically blocked and the event is recorded. Prohibited actions (Ctrl+Alt+Del, tab switching, Moodle exit) trigger automatic screenshots visible to the examination department.

All prohibited actions โ€” Ctrl+Alt+Delete, tab switching, browser close attempts, window minimisation โ€” are instantly logged and trigger automatic screenshots visible to the examination department.

Process

How Support Works

A simple four-step process from request to resolution.

1
Request

Email it@tma.edu.ge with a brief description of the issue. For hardware or software procurement, fill in the request form and submit to tma@tma.edu.ge at least 10 working days before the requirement date.

2
Analysis

An IT specialist reviews the request and categorises the issue by priority.

3
Resolution

The team resolves the problem โ€” remotely or on-site, depending on the issue.

4
Follow-up

You receive confirmation of resolution. We follow up to ensure everything works correctly.
