Exchange Programs

To strengthen human capital, Tbilisi Medical Academy offers students a range of scholarship-supported exchange opportunities. From their first year, TMA students can apply for funding and choose a program at leading universities across Europe.

Through international cooperation, the Academy provides semester and bilateral exchange programs, as well as short-term and clinical internships.

Participating in exchange programs gives TMA students a unique opportunity to experience international medical education environments, clinical practice standards, and high-performing healthcare systems in real settings.

Beyond academic growth, exchange programs help students strengthen cultural competence and ethical responsibility. Communicating with patients from diverse backgrounds builds empathy and professionalism. Exposure to different healthcare models gives students a broader perspective on public health systems, hospital management, and patient-centred care.
