On November 18, Petre Shotadze Tbilisi Medical Academy (TMA) organized an exhibition and award ceremony for the winners of the “Breast Cancer Advocacy Through Art - Pink October” students contest.
An independent jury has revealed the following winners:
- I place - Tinatin Sozashvili
- II place - Apoorova Bisht and Pragya Sharma shared
- III place - Arif Yoosuf Nazeer
The art contest was dedicated to raising awareness about breast cancer with an aim to demonstrate the competencies of a doctor defined by CanMeds framework. By applying various art mediums such as paintings, videos, animations, crafts, and poetry, the contest enabled the TMA students to showcase connections between medicine and art.
