A dandy neurosurgery club will be created in TMA, Natia Beridze, a second-year medical student at TMA, shared information about the club's activities and plans with the students. Natia is also a senator of the Dandy Neurosurgery Club at the Tbilisi Medical Academy.

Walter E. Dandy Neurosurgical Society was based in the USA, in 2011, and its main goal is to create a forum for neurosurgeons. The forum will help doctors, residents, and medical students from all over the world. Other than helping them to get a better education, it will make it easier for them to access the information, news, and latest updates in the field.

Student clubs are one of the main parts of society. Dandy student clubs are already uniting the students in more than 60 countries. Georgia became one of them one year ago.

The Dandy aims to create an academic environment for medical students, residents, neurosurgeons, and neurologists. To achieve this, the Dandy club has already organized several events, "Tbilisi Neurosurgical Symposium” being one of them. The symposium will also be held in Tbilisi this year.

One of the main goals of Dandy is to deepen the interest in Neurosurgery and Neuroscience, that’s why the idea of Senators was born. The senators will represent Dandy in medical universities, create local clubs, and also organize activities that will engage the students.
