Tbilisi Medical Academy hosted the delegation of Atatürk University. Within the framework of the visit, the rector of Atatürk University Ömer Çomaklı, professors of the medical faculty, and representatives of the international office visited TMA.
The purpose of the working visit was to deepen the existing cooperation between TMA and Atatürk University and to discuss future projects. At the same time, the memorandum was updated, which envisages the participation of TMA students, academic and administrative staff in exchange programs, sharing of theoretical and practical experience, implementation of joint scientific or cultural activities, and participation in conferences and trainings. Within the framework of the working visit, presentations were held about Atatürk University and the current scientific innovations at the Medical Faculty.
Within the framework of the meeting, the parties agreed that a visit of Turkish students to Georgia will be planned in the near future so that they can participate in various Georgian training projects, and also a visit of TSA students to the research clinic of Atatürk University will be planned.
Atatürk University is one of the important partners of TMA. Last year, TMA students completed a summer internship at the Atatürk University Research Clinic.
