TMA hosted a working visit to Professor Katia Mangano and Professor Roberto Di Marco, who represented partner University of Catania of the Erasmus+ project SAFEMED+, and Professor Mario Ollero - Professor at Université Paris Est Créteil (France).

The purpose of the meeting was to share experiences between the parties and plan future cooperation.

During the visit, the discussion was about the SAFEMED+ project, which aims to introduce and develop competency-based medical simulation training in the participant universities, which in turn ensures the formation of appropriate clinical competencies among graduates. In addition, introduce innovations in medical education, share experience, and strengthen the clinical line with a modern approach.

In the framework of the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects of deepening the existing partnership between Georgia and Catania and discussed issues of strengthening scientific cooperation.
