October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The campaign called "Your life is in your hands" started today and will continue throughout the year.

The first event of the campaign with the slogan, „Get screened and be protected” was held today. TMA students, administrative staff, representatives of the National Screening Center, together with the organization "Europe Donna Georgia" and ordinary citizens assembled a living chain. The event symbolically serves to raise awareness about breast cancer and express solidarity with patients.

Tbilisi Medical Academy traditionally joins the breast cancer awareness campaign and plans various events in this direction.
