Tbilisi Medical Academy hosted an employment forum. About ten leading companies representing the medical field were represented at the forum, which offered TMA students and graduates vacancies in various positions.
"I think that the employment forum is very important because the university helps us to get closer to the clinics and find employment opportunities in different positions. The fact that organizations come so close and inform us about vacancies is a very big contributing factor for us from the side of the university. I got acquainted with the vacancies offered by several companies, and I hope there will be feedback between us", said TMA student Khatia Devadze.
The employment forum organized by TMA aims to meet students and organizations, introduce current vacancies or internships, and promote career growth.
"As you know, it is very important to participate in employment forums to meet employers and young job seekers. I am glad that the interest of the students was quite high. More than 40 interested people came to our stand and we interviewed them. We received very positive feedback from them and we hope for future cooperation. Today we have about seven vacant positions, including internship opportunities. There is a real opportunity for future cooperation between us and TMA students," said Salome Gvinjilia, the head of the Human Resources Management Service of Clinic MedCapital.
TMA alumni attended the employment forum along with students.
"I am glad that I had the opportunity to participate in the forum organized by TMA, where interesting organizations were represented, and it made it much easier for us to access vacancies. Today was quite informative because I am looking for a junior doctor vacancy in a clinic. Accordingly, I have registered with several clinics and await their feedback. I also received information from clinics regarding private residency" - Mariam Kuprashvili, TMA alumni.
