Where do so many street animals come from? How to manage the population of street dogs and how to make their life easier? What can each of us do? - To discuss these issues, TMA hosted a public lecture.
The lecture was led by Nino Chlaidze, co-founder of the non-governmental organization "Animal Project". "Problem of street dogs in Georgia and ways to solve it" - under this title, the speaker combined such topics as animal shelters, myths and reality related to them; rules of behavior with street dogs; What to do if we are faced with an aggressive dog, how to make our dog friendly with street dogs. Also, what should be the cooperation of the state and society in solving the problem?
"It is essential to talk about this problem in society, and I am very grateful to the university for allowing me to do so. The interest was quite high on the part of the students and we agreed that in the future we are going to take care of improving the welfare of animals in various directions,"- she said.
