TMA’s project is one of the Competitive Innovation Fund (CIF) competition winners. The grant competition implemented by CIF is funded by the World Bank.
The development and implementation of a molecular pathology training program in Georgian universities to improve higher medical education is a grant project funded by CIF, which Tbilisi Medical Academy will implement in cooperation with Tbilisi State University.
The main goal of CIF is to develop specific directions for higher education institutions, modernize academic programs and learning environments, and strengthen connections with the labor market. The competition of Competitive Innovations promotes the implementation of strategic plans for universities, which in turn is in accordance with the national goals of higher education and state priorities.
