TMA participated in the annual conference organized by the European Association of International Education (EAIE). The event was hosted in Toulouse, France, where 7,300 participants from over 900 organizations in 110 countries discussed current issues in the internationalization of higher education and the latest trends and development directions. More than 250 stands were presented at the exhibition.
State and private higher education institutions in Georgia were among the participants. Educational organizations actively offer their colleagues partnerships and cooperation in various areas of education.
TMA was represented at the forum by the Vice-Rector in International Affairs, Professor Ia Avaliani. She met with representatives from leading universities in Europe, America, and Asia to prepare for further cooperation, joint projects, and international scientific research. Discussions also covered the signing of bilateral agreements between universities, enhancing mobility within the Erasmus framework, and planning joint consortia.
Additionally, meetings focused on social responsibility, leadership, education strategies, and policies. Practical seminars related to the mobility of students and staff were productive. The event also included working meetings with investors interested in education-related marketing.
Participation in this conference will greatly contribute to the ongoing growth and development of TMA’s internationalization efforts.
EAIE, founded in 1989, is an authoritative international organization dedicated to the internationalization of higher education. It plays a key role in facilitating educational expertise, fostering relationships between educational organizations, and managing university resources. Every year, more than 100 countries and 300 organizations participate in this exhibition.
