By the initiative of the head of TMA's student club "Helpers of Community", Anano Akhobadze, the project "Medicine and Psychology" was implemented at the American Councils. This initiative brought together students from Tbilisi Medical Academy (TMA) and Tbilisi State University (TSU).
The project aimed to emphasize the connection between psychology and medicine. TSU students led the psychological training, while Anano focused on the Medical aspect. She conducted a hands-on first aid workshop, covering essential techniques such as using tourniquets, triangular bandages, and managing severe bleeding. Anano also shared practical advice for responding to critical situations requiring first aid.
The “Medicine and Psychology” project aimed to celebrate the shared mission of both fields: "helping people". It individually highlighted the unique importance of psychology and medicine, showcasing their roles in improving lives.
