The dean of the School of Medicine of TMA, Prof. Lali Mekokishvili, was elected to represent Georgia on the Board of Directors of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV). The elections were held electronically, by secret ballot, and members of the Academy from Georgia
participated.
The results were announced during the Congress at the EADV General Assembly which was hosted in Amsterdam (Netherlands). On behalf of TMA, Prof. Lali Mekokishvili, presented the results of clinical research with an electronic poster. The study contained important findings included the treatment of psoriasis with monoclonal antibodies.
The European Association of Dermatovenereologists is one of the biggest and prestigious organization
in the field. It unites more than 11,000 members. This year, 17,000 delegates from almost all countries from around the world participated in the congress.
