A PLAB/UKMLE workshop was held at the initiative of the TMA Career Development Service, led by one of the Academy’s outstanding graduates –Dr. Ajinkya Kulkarni, who is currently working in the field of internal medicine in Belfast, UK.

Ajinkya shared information with TMA students regarding the PLAB/UKMLE exam, in particular, what are the steps and procedures a student wishing to take the exam should go through, what resources can they use, and what are the stages of preparation, duration, etc. In addition, he spoke about his experience and career opportunities in the UK.

“ Workshop was quite informative, especially to understand each  step of the application process, it was quite informative for international students as well as national students, because there are different pathways for each of them to get to the UK. I think this workshop will be very helpful for all the students who want to continue their studies in the UK” – noted TMA student Cyril Babu Chacko.
