Tbilisi Medical Academy’s (TMA) Science club organized an event titled "Achievements and Challenges in Alzheimer's Disease”. The aim of the event was to familiarize students with the nature of Alzheimer’s disease, its pathophysiological mechanisms, modern diagnostic and therapeutic approaches, as well as to discuss ongoing scientific research and ethical issues related to the clinical management of the disease.
The event was conducted in an interactive format, allowing participants to engage actively in the discussion, share their perspectives, and reflect on the challenges and potential research directions associated with Alzheimer’s disease.
