Co-organized by Tbilisi Medical Academy and the Arrhythmia School, Bakuriani once again hosted the project “Arrhythmia Winter School 2026”.
It is an important educational event aimed at enhancing the knowledge of medical students and young doctors in electrocardiography (ECG) and arrhythmia management.
This initiative has been successfully implemented for several years. For the past two years, it has been conducted under the aegis of Tbilisi Medical Academy’s institutional project LIFESTRAND.
Over the course of three intensive days, participants engaged in in-depth training on ECG interpretation, recognition and management of arrhythmias, as well as practical emergency care and triage algorithms. Real clinical cases, simulation-based learning, and team-based activities made the program highly interactive and outcome-oriented.
The final day featured clinical case discussions and an interactive Kahoot-based competition, where TMA students distinguished themselves among participating universities, securing first place in both individual and team categories.
The “Arrhythmia Winter School” is more than a training program. It is a professional learning environment where theory is translated into practice, and future physicians develop the ability to make timely, accurate, and responsible decisions in critical situations.
