A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between Petre Shotadze Tbilisi Medical Academy (TMA) and BAU International University Batumi. The document was signed by the Rector of Tbilisi Medical Academy, Irene Shotadze and the Rector BAU International University Batumi, Irine Imerlishvili.
Under the framework of the Memorandum, the parties agreed to foster multilateral cooperation and implement a range of joint initiatives. The agreement includes student exchange programs aimed at enhancing both theoretical and practical knowledge, as well as increasing student engagement in scientific research.
The cooperation also includes the organization of joint scientific research projects and conferences, creating a platform for sharing academic experience and innovative ideas. Special attention will be given to the mutual exchange of best practices in healthcare and education, the professional development of students and academic staff, the advancement of mobility programs, and support for innovative teaching methods.
The signing of this Memorandum represents an important step in institutional development and significantly strengthens partnership relations in the field of higher medical education in Georgia.
