On April 23, an informational meeting regarding the European Union's research and innovation framework program, "Horizon Europe," was held at the Petre Shotadze Tbilisi Medical Academy (TMA).
The event was led by the representative of the "Horizon Europe" National Office of Georgia, the National Contact Point (NCP) for Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions - Teona Maisuradze.
The aim of the meeting was to introduce researchers and academic representatives to the new opportunities available within the European scientific area. The speaker discussed important topics in detail, such as:
- Grant directions - upcoming calls for proposals and priority research fields;
- Funding schemes - financial mechanisms and the specifics of project budgeting;
- Researcher mobility programs - prospects for international collaboration and professional development.
The meeting proceeded in an active, interactive mode. The audience received valuable practical recommendations and comprehensive answers to their questions regarding the preparation and implementation of future grant projects.
