Tbilisi Medical Academy’s participation in the International Staff MUST Week 2026 at Masaryk University led to new international partnerships and expanded mobility opportunities for the TMA community.
Prof. Ia Avaliani, Vice-Rector for International Affairs at Tbilisi Medical Academy (TMA), participated in the International Staff MUST Week 2026 hosted by Masaryk University in Brno, Czech Republic, from June 1-5, 2026.
The event brought together nearly 30 professionals in international relations and communications from universities across Europe, Africa, Ukraine, and Georgia. The program provided a valuable platform for exchanging experiences and best practices in international project management, student mobility, digital marketing strategies, and effective communication with young people.
As a result of the meetings and networking activities, TMA strengthened existing partnerships and established new connections with European higher education institutions, creating prospects for future bilateral agreements and broader international mobility opportunities for students, academic staff, and administrative personnel.
TMA’s participation reflects its strategic commitment to internationalization, strengthening global partnerships, and creating new opportunities for students, academic staff, and administrative personnel to engage in international academic exchange.
