The PhD Programme in Public Health prepares highly qualified professionals for research and practical work in public health, biomedicine, and related fields. Graduates develop the ability to design and conduct research, analyze data, and apply evidence-based solutions to improve population health outcomes, while also gaining competencies for academic and teaching roles.
The programme follows a student-centered approach based on learning by doing and learning by teaching. Through interactive group work, practical research activities, and close collaboration with supervisors, doctoral students gain hands-on experience in research and teaching, actively participating in academic and scientific processes.
