The project - kids university "Medicine and Art" of the Petre Shotadze Tbilisi Medical Academy was designed for high school pupils (X, XI, XII) and aimed to provide them the information about medicine and art in a funny, illustrative, and integrative manner.

The correlation between medicine and art has been formed over the centuries. Doctors often made sketches while studying the human body; everyone remembers the drawings of Leonardo da Vinci. Furthermore, the success of some artists has been determined by their anatomical features: the violin virtuoso, Niccolo Paganini, was characterized by unusual elasticity of joints; actress Elizabeth Taylor's eyelashes grew in two rows, which gave a special depth to her gaze, and etc.

In the frames of the project, the lectures and seminars were organized for the target group. Furthermore, the participants had the opportunity to independently perform simple experiments in TMA's laboratory.
