The winners of the Social and Cultural Student Projects Competition were awarded at an event hosted in TMAโs Event Hall. A specially appointed committee selected five winning projects.
The winner projects are:
1) โPlanetary Health and Waste Managementโ - Avtandil Samadalashvili, Medea Kusiani;
2) โWhispers of Danger: Exploring the Effects of Decibels on Heartbeatsโ - Rishu Girish Shah, Tamar Dandurishvili;
3) โSpecial Needs Supportโ - Tata Tatalashvili, Elene Sajaia, Sesili Lazaria, Ana Chikovani;
4) โStudents for Public Healthโ - Mariam Jorbenadze, Nana Katchiuri, Mariam Kevkhishvili, Saba Chikobava, Elene Liluashvili, Elene Gubeladze;
5) โVitalCareโ - Nino Chkhutishvili, Levan Bakhtadze, Mariam Berdzenishvili, Lia Tevdoradze, Tamar Kobulashvili.
This year, TMA announced a competition for social and cultural student projects for the first time. This grant initiative aims to strengthen inter- and transdisciplinary approaches to solving complex healthcare issues, which aligns with the Academyโs mission to serve and benefit society. Nine project proposals were submitted as a result of the competition, and a multidisciplinary committee selected five winning projects.
All projects are in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (3, 4, 6, 11, 13, 15, 17) and fully consistent with TMAโs third mission, which is to serve the community.
