On the 14th of June there is a worldwide celebration of World Blood Donors Day held by WHO.
Blood donation is critical for treatments and urgent interventions, providing longer life for patients.

The main slogan for this year’s WHO Blood Donors Day campaign is “Give blood and make the world a healthier place”.
