Enrollment of foreign citizens wishing to study at Tbilisi Medical Academy, or Georgian citizens living abroad, follows Ministerial Order #224 (29-Dec-2011).

Spring Intake 2025/2026: December 15, 2025 February 20, 2026

Tbilisi Medical Academy welcomes international students from around the world to commence medical education.

Our one-step MD program aligns with WFME standards, CanMEDS 2015 competencies, and the European ECTS framework.

It equips students with international-level knowledge, communication skills, clinical research tools, and professional ethics.

First-Year Applicant Documents

  • NEET exam result (required for Indian applicants only)

English Proficiency

Minimum B1 level required via IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge, or Versant.

Waived if general education was fully in English (requires school proof).

Visa & Immigration

All students must obtain a D3 visa before arrival.

Accommodation

TMA doesnt offer dormitories, but Student Services help with rentals.

Medical Insurance

Required before semester begins. Cost: $7-$25/month (local insurance).
