What is the connection between gut microbes and the brain? How gut microbiome can affect our mood, behavior, and mental well-being? Science Club organized a discussion meeting about these issues with TMA student involvement.
Certain types of gut microbes are associated with increased risks of mental diseases, such as Parkinson’s Disease, Alzheimer’s Disease, depression, and autism - these are the issues that students have presented and reviewed recent ground-breaking evidence from this new and exciting field.
