Radboud University Summer School

Within the framework of the Erasmus+ program, six representatives of TMA staff participated in the summer school of Radboud University (Nijmegen, Netherlands). The training courses took place in June-July, and the topics were selected by the participants following the strategic goals and objectives of TMA, which included the following:

  1. Mariam (Maka) Maglakelidze - Social Research Methods: Qualitative Data Analysis;
  2. Dea Goderdzishvili - Social Research Methods: Multi-Method in Practice: Pluralist Case Study Designs;
  3. Vakhtang Deisadze - Induced Pluripotent Stem Cells: Maintenance, Differentiation, and Uses for Regenerative Medicine;
  4. Khatuna (Khatia) Khatiashvili - Choosing one's own way.' The meaning of Viktor Frankl's heritage for Modern Psychiatry and Spiritual Care;
  5. Nino Noselidze - Brain, Bacteria, and Behavior: Understanding the Gut-Brain Axis;
  6. Saba Iordanishvili - Introduction to Machine Learning with R and Rstudio.

Radboud University is one of the long-term and strategically most important partners of TMA within the Erasmus+ program. The existing partnership includes the short-term trips of TMA administrative and academic staff to various Radboud University summer school courses. This format of cooperation is significant since the academy has the opportunity to choose from the various training courses offered, those directions that will bring results for both the staff and the institution of TMA.
