
The project "Innovation and Technology for Medicine" was financed within the framework of CIF

Within the frames of the first call for proposals of joint programme “Georgia I2Q – Innovation, Inclusion and Quality” of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and the World Bank created “Competitive Innovation Fund (CIF)”, the joint programme of Ilia State University and Petre Shotadze Tbilisi Medical Academy - "Innovation and Technology for Medicine" has been approved for funding.
The project aims to develop research components specific to a one-step medical education programme and to realize them via the application of the problem and project-based methodologies.
The implementation of this innovative approach within the medical curricula facilitates and supports the development of skills required for research, analysis, and practical application of the scientific-research concepts among students.
