Orientation week at TMA
TMA hosted an orientation week for the international students. During one week, the students had the opportunity to talk to the Rector of the Academy, Irene Shotadze, the Dean of the School of Medicine, Lali Mekokishvili, the Head of the Quality Assurance Department Nino Sikharulidze, and receive information from them about the Academy's mission, goals, and teaching programs. In addition, students got acquainted with TMA infrastructure, library resources, and the science club.
The head of the Institutional Culture Development Department, Maka Maglakelidze, spoke to the students about the institutional culture of the Academy and introduced the first-year students to the social projects implemented by TMA with the involvement of students. She also provided information about the social partners with whom TMA actively cooperates.
On the last day of the orientation week, the members of the student academy and cubs shared information about the student life of TMA with the freshmen. They introduced them to all the opportunities the academy offers them and what they would be interested in getting involved in.
The freshmen also had the opportunity to interview senior students of the Academy in a question-and-answer format and to get information from them on all the questions they were interested in.
