On April 27 and 28, Tbilisi Medical Academy participated in the first largest festival of workshops.

The silk factory hosted the festival, where the guests were greeted by about 200 workshops on various topics united in one space.

Workshops included: Arts & Crafts, Gardening & DIY, Education & Professional Development, Health & Beauty, Food & Beverage, Technology, and more.

TMA offered a first-aid workshop to the interested visitors:

-Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
-First aid techniques in the case of a foreign body passing through the airways
-Trauma management at the pre-hospital level (outside the clinic)
-Types of traumatic injuries of limbs and methods of immobilization
-Types of bleeding and methods of stopping them

24 students of TMA taught the basics of first aid to more than 130 guests who came to the festival for two days.

During the festival, TV company BMG revealed three favorite workshops. The BMG Award for Positive Impact was presented to TMA.
