Medicine in Georgian

For more than 30 years, Tbilisi Medical Academy has been successfully implementing a One-Step Educational Program - Medicine (Taught in Georgian Language).

Medicine In english

Medicine (In English) In 2012, Tbilisi Medical Academy implemented a One-Step Educational Program - Medicine, where studies are conducted in the English language. Both programs passed the National Center of Educational Quality Enhancement assessment and were fully accredited for 7 years.


Master's Program in Applied Public Health

The goal of the program is to prepare competitive public health specialists equipped with modern knowledge and practical skills who will be able to respond to the dynamic demands of the field and contribute to the development of the field.

To create the highest quality practical experience for students, Tbilisi Medical Academy actively cooperates with leading clinics. Students have the opportunity to gain experience in clinical disciplines and learn about the practical challenges of modern medicine.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • What programs do you have?

    We offer three programs – Medicine in Georgian, Medicine in English, and Applied Public Health.

  • Medicine in Georgian – 6500 Gel

    Medicine in English- 6500 Gel

    Medicine in English for International students – 7000$

    Applied Public Health for International students - 5000$ eq. in GEL

  • There are two co-funding programs in TMA:

    1)TMA provides student co-financing in the amount of 50% of the obtained state grant in the first academic year.

    2) TMA finances students in the amount of 30% of the social grant financed by the state. Funding is carried out by the lists presented by the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia.

    3)Students with high academic performance are exempt from tuition fees. TMA has internal funding for students whose academic performance exceeds 91% and who are actively participating in numerous social projects.

  • In order to become a student of TMA, it is necessary to pass national exams and pass our internal barriers. (Citizens of Georgia)

    Medicine in Georgian

    Georgian language and literature - 50%+1

    Foreign language (English) - 60%+1

    Biology - 60%+1

    One of the following compulsory subjects

    Mathematics - 45%+1

    Physics - 45%+1

    Chemistry - 45%+1

     

    Medicine in English

  • Both programs of Tbilisi Medical Academy have been evaluated by the National Center for the Development of Education Quality and have been granted full accreditation. The accreditation process was led by an expert from the World Federation of Medical Education (WFME).
